The Book Of Thomas Part Three

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

In contrast where Jesus tells the disciples what they must do, he tell them what "to say to themselves." In other words, one of the major goals of the saying of Jesus in Gospel of Thomas is to teach the reader a form of internal dialogue in which to engage. They are to use the questions and saying of Jesus as  a "living" voice that speaks to them and asks them questions, This will lead them into an activity of seeking that holds the promise of finding life. In contrast to the Gospel of John, simply 'believing" what one has seen and heard will not bring life.

(75) Jesus said, 'there are many standing at the door, but those who are alone will enter the bridal suite." Solitaries will enter. Many disciples want to unite all opposites and find enlightenment. but only those who are fully detached who alone can find it enter the bridal suite, can unite conscience and energy into supreme. (Matthew 16:28) Verily I say unto you, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Christ first coming was in humiliation; it is His second coming that will be in glory.

(76) The parable of pearl of great price. (Matthew 13:45-46) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man,, seeking goodly pearls, Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. The merchant man is Christ, who comes to purchase, through his atonement, sinners who shall become goodly pearls, The one pearl of great price is the church for whom Christ gave His life, that is, all that he had. If the pearl is Christ the kingdom, for whom a man must give all in order to obtain, then no one has ever yet given all that he has for Christ, While we receive Him as Savior, we also progressively continue surrendering areas of ourselves to Him as we come to know better His will for our lives. (Matthews 6: 20)  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through not steal.

(77) Jesus said , I am the light that is over al things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained. Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there. "Jesus is the entirety." (John 1:4-5) In him was life; and the life was the light of me, And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehend it not. In John writing, life represent salvation and deliverance through Christ, and light denotes Jesus revelation of God which call men to accountability. (John 9:5) As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." Light of the world means as long as I am in the world, When he is no longer in the world, then believers become light of the world. (Mathew 5:14) Ye are the light of the world describes the essential mission of the Christian to the world.

(78) The goal of coming.  Truth is more important than life .Greatness is found in service to God. Spiritual search are too focused on outer appearance to judge the value of a teacher neither the signs of heavy detachment. (Luke 7:24-25) And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, what went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind? But what went ye out  to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously appeared, and live delicately, are in kings courts. (Matthews 11:7-8) And as they departed,Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, what went ye into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? But what went ye out for to see?  A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings houses.

(79)Those who have kept the Word. Blessed the womb. (Luke 11:27-28) And it came to pass,a as he spoke these things, a  certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou has sucked. But he said, yea rather blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it. (John 13:16-17) Verily, verily, I say unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord; neither he  that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them." (JAMES 1:25) But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his seed.

(80) Jesus said, "Whoever has come to know the world has discovered the body, and whoever has discovered the body, of that one the world is not worthy. "The world is like the body."(Mark 8:35) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it;but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel, the same shall save it. (Luke 9:24) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose is life for my sake, the same shall save it."

(81)Jesus said, 'Let one who had become wealthy reign, and let one who has power renounce." The rich should reign In power.(Matthew 19:23) Then said Jesus  unto His disciples, verily I say unto you, that a rich  man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of God. (Mark 10:23) And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!    (1 Corinthians 4:8) Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you..

(82) Jesus said, "Whoever is near me is near the fire, and whoever is far from me is far from the kingdom." Fire and the kingdom! (Mark 9:49) For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. (Matthew 3:11) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire."

(83) Jesus said, "Images are visible to people, but the light within them is hidden in the image of the Father's light. He will be disclosed, but his image is hidden by his light." "Light is hidden by the Father. (2 Corinthians 4:4) In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.". (John 12:40)  He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and i should heal them."

(84) Jesus said, "When you see your likeness, you are happy. But when you see your images that came into being before you and that neither die nor become visible, how much you will have to bear!" (Genesis 1:26-28)  "Our encounter our image.  And God said, let us make man in our image, after our like-ness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle,  and over al the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea,and over the fowl of the air, and over upon over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.'

(85) Jesus said, "Adam came from great power and great wealth, but he was not worthy of you. For had he been worthy, he would not have tasted death." 'Adam was not worthy due to sin." (Genesis 3:17) And unto Adam he  said, because thou has hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and has eaten that which I commanded thee saying, thou shall not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shall thou eat of it all the days of thy life." (1 Corinthians 15:22, 45) For as  in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last dam was made a quickening spirit.

(86) Jesus said, 'Foxes have their den and birds have their nest, but human being have no place to lay down and rest."The Son of man has no place to rest! (Matthew 8:19-22) And certain scribe came and said unto him, master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goes.  And Jesus said unto him the foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has has not where to lay his head. And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. But Jesus said unto him, follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. (Luke 2:7)  And she brought forth her first born son,and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn." The body or the animal nature can rest in sleep foxes have their dens and birds have their nests, but the ego the On as the false identity of self of man, can never rest his mind lay down his head and rest. As long as the ego is present ,peace is not.

(87) Jesus said , "How miserable is the body that depends's on a body, and how miserable is the soul that depends on these two. Unhappy miserable is the astral body or feeling the body that depends for its happiness on the physical body or a body, And how unhappy miserable is the casual body the soul that depends on both these bodies these two for happiness.

(88) Jesus said, "The messenger and the prophets will come to you and give you what belongs to you. You, in turn, give them what you have, and say to yourselves, "when will they come and take what belongs to them?" We should give also! (LUKE 12:20) But God said unto him, thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou has provided. So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

(89) Jesus said, "why do you wash the outside of the cup? Don"t you understand that the one who made the inside is also the one who made the outside? We should wash not! (Luke 11:39-40)  Then the Lord said to him, Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside you are fill of greed and wickedness, YOU FOOLS." Did not the one who made the outside they  made the inside also? (Matthew 23:25-26) Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup, so that the outside also may become clean.

(90)Jesus said, "Come to me, for my yoke is comfortable and my lordship is gentle, and you will find rest for yourselves.." Jesus yoke is easy! (John 6:35-37) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, that ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father gives me shall come to me;and him that comes to me I will in no wise cast out."

(91) Recognition of Jesus! (Luke 12:54-56) And he said also to the people, when ye see a cloud rise out of the, straightway ye say, there comes a shower; and so it is. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, there will be heat; and it comes to pass. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time. (Matthews 16:1-2) The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, when it is evening, ye say, it will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

(92) Jesus said, "seek and you will find. in the past, however, I did tell  you the things about which you asked me then. Now I am willing to tell them, but you are not seeking them. "We do not seek the kingdom of God! (Matthews 7:7-9) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every on that asks receive: and he that seek finds;and to him that knocks it shall be opened. (Mark 11:22-25) And Jesus answering said unto them, have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, that whosever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespass. (Luke 11:9-11) And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asks receive; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone/ or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? (John 15:16-17) Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things i command you, that ye love one another.

(93) Don't give what is holy to dogs, for they might throw them upon the manure pile, Don't throw pearls to pigs, or they might...." Don't give away those thing which are holy! (Matthews 7:6) Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under feet, and turn again and rend you. The dogs and swine refers to those who have deliberately rejected the truth. (Proverbs 9:7-8) He that reproves a scorner gets to himself shame: and he that rebukes a wicked man gets himself blot. Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

(94)  Jesus said, "One who seeks will find, and for one who knocks it will be opened. "Seeking the kingdom." (Matthews 21:21-22) Then Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me , and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus said unto them, I say not unto thee, until seven times: but, until seventy times seven. (LUKE 11:9-11) And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find;knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knock it shall be opened. (John 14:12-14) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do also; and greater works than these shall he do;because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name,I will do it.

(95) Jesus said, "If you have money, don't lend it at interest. Rather, give it to someone from whom you won't get it back." We should not lend money expecting to get it back! (Luke 6:34) And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

(96)Jesus said the Father kingdom is like a woman, She took a little leaven, hid it in dough, and made it into a large loaves of bread. Anyone here with two ears had better listen! (Matthew 13:34) Another parable spoke he unto them; the kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.' (Luke 13:21) It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened." Kingdom of heaven is the spiritual form of the kingdom in the church, leaven is a lump of old dough in  state of fermentation which makes the bread dough rise, it is always used as symbol of evil. Some say that the leaven represents God's work and the bread is the world, This means that the church is the leaven working inside the world, the bread and its influence spreading throughout the world.

(97)The empire of God is involved with common things. The empire is not present to shelter us from hardship or miraculously deliver is from our own mistakes and misdeed. The empire is represented by the empty jar and the inattentive woman, Look for the empire if the Father around us, It is spread over the land but people do not se it! Mistakes will be made, we will sometimes fail an self-reliance can be an important attribute at those times. But sometimes we will need help from others since our jar is not only broken but empty of what is needed. Like the man going to Jericho who was robbed, we may be offered help from an unattractive source, We can become more compassionate, we do not leave it up others to God to take of the unfortunate, we do it, We can help other when we see someone who has an unexpected broken jar. (Matthews 13:35) That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying I will open my mouth in parables: I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

(98) Death leads to life. When we "die" to ourselves, we "rise" to new life in Jesus Christ. (Luke 14:31) Or what king, going to make war against another king sits not down first, and consult whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that comes against him with twenty thousand? To find enlightenment the kingdom we need to kill the ego someone powerful. In order to prepare for that, we first need to exercise and test our strength and mind-control find out whether his hand would on in only the ego the powerful or can be killed.

(99)The disciples said to him, "Your brothers and our mother are standing outside."  Jesus true family. (Luke 8:19-21) Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for press. And it was told him by certain which said, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. And he answered and said unto them, my mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God ,and do it. (Matthew 12:46-48) While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood  without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak. But he answered and said unto him, who is my mother? and who are my brethren? He calls his family not those related through blood, but those who perform his will are God's children too, that makes them family.BUT A MANY AS RECEIVED HIM, TO THEM GAVE HE POWER to BECOME THE SONS OF God, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME."

(100)  They showed Jesus a gold coin and said to him, 'the Roman emperors people demand taxes from us. He said to them, 'give the emperor what belong to the emperor, give to God what belongs to God,a and give me what is mine."  (Matthews 22:21) They say unto Him, Caesar's. Then said he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar; and unto God the things that are God." (Mark 12:17) And Jesus answering said unto them, render to Caesar the thing that are Caesar, and to God the things that are God's and they marveled at him. Jesus is saying that the obligation to Caesar stands under and is judged by an immeasurably higher obligation to recognize the Sovereignty of the Supreme Sovereign, to give what  is due to the greatest emperor of all; that if you think you feel an obligation to the state, it can't compare tot he obligation you should feel to God. Jesus uses this unexpected opportunity to remind the people of the first and greatest commandment, "You do homage to the Lord, your God, Him alone must yourselves.

(101) Luke 14:26) If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. (Matthew 10:37)  He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Jesus warned that our relationship with people, the world, and possessions can rival our love for Him. If your mother and father causes us to disobey Christ, you are not worthy of Him. If you compare the love you have for me to the love for your family and relatives, the two cannot stand side by side, Your love for Christ should be so great that the difference between the two is like love and hate. The first part of being his steward and disciple is that we have unrivaled love for him.

(102)  Pharisee impede! (Luke 11:52)  Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and tem that were entering in ye hindered. (Matthew 23:13) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.  Ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men is another way of saying, You put stumbling blocks in the way of the sinner coming to repentance and conversion.

(103) Know man knows the day! (Luke 12: 39-40) And this know, that if the good man of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Be ye therefore ready also; for the Son of man comes at an hour when ye think not. (Matthew 24:44) Therefore be ready ye also ready; for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man comes. Illustrate the seriousness of Christ's second coming, a fact that Jesus never allegorized or spiritualized it, but spoke of in the most serious term as: cut him asunder,,, weeping and gnashing of teeth.

(104) They said to JESUS, "Come, let us pray today, and let is fast." Jesus said,"What sin have I committed, or how have I been undone? Rather, when the groom leaves the bridal suite, then let people fast and pray. (Matthew 9:14-15)Then came to him the disciples of john, saying, why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not? And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bride-chamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bride-groom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast. As long as the bride-groom is with them is an illusion to His coming death and ascension. (John 3:29) He that has the bride is the bride-groom: but the friend if the bride-groom, which stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bride-groom voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.  The marriage must be taken in the full aspect of salvation, including union with Christ, culminating in glorification at the marriage supper, which  inaugurates the millennial age. Rejection of the invitation to attend constitutes disloyalty to the King,as well as discourtesy to the Son and accounts for the severe treatment of the rebels.

(105) Jesus said, 'Whoever knows the father and the mother will be called the child of a whore." (Matthew 8:39-42) They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father, Jesus said unto them, if ye were Abraham children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God; this did not Abraham. Ye do the deed of your father. Then said they to him, we be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, if God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceed forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Jesus shows that discipleship depends on having the right Father. They had the wrong father.  They claimed to be sons of Abraham, but Jesus shows this to be false. They are Abraham's physical seed, but he is not their spiritual father. They claim to be sons of God, which Jesus shows to be also. When you love the parent, you will not hate the Son.

(106) Jesus said, 'When you make the two into one, you will become children of Adam, and when you say, "Mountain, move from here! it will move. (Luke 17:5-6) And the disciples said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. And the Lord said, if ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say  unto this sycamore tree, be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. (1 Corinthians 13:2) And though i have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. (Ephesians 5:2) And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and  a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor." "Power of wholeness!" Every act of creation seems to have been a division of one thing from another. Adam was both male and female was in him until the female was removed from him and given a separate identity in Eve. It seems in reflection on this that neither male nor female existed until the separation took place. Jesus is implying that what God has put asunder, we are destined to make one.

(107) "Parable of lost sheep!" (Matthew 18:12-14) How think ye? If a man have a hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, does he not leave the ninety nine, and goes into the mountains, and seek that which is goes astray. And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoices more of that sheep, than of ninety nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your father which is in heaven, that one of these little one should perish. (Luke 15:3-4) And he spoke this parable unto them, saying. what man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, does not leave the ninety nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? Jesus is teaching his student in his school that al are equal. Not even the one who went so sadly astray, not even if one is the largest- best, will that straying one deemed to be less than the other. It is not about superiority. The lost sheep is trying to rediscover spiritual truth for him or her. from direct experience and mystical way.

(108)  Jesus said, 'Whoever drinks from my mouth will become like me; I myself shall become that person, and the hidden things will be revealed to him." "Assimilation to Jesus!" (JOHN 7:37-38) In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying if any man thirst let him come unto me,and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (Revelation 22:17) And the Spirit and the bride say, come. And let him that hears say, come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will let him take the water of life freely."  This beautiful metaphor that say let Jesus into your heart of hearts. Breathe him in and imbibe him into yourself so there is no more but Him.

(109) "A parable of hidden treasure." (Matthew 13:44) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man has found, he hides, and for joy thereof goes and sells al that he has,and buys that field.' The treasure is our gift to connect with God and know his will without going through and intercessor of  a priest, monk, pastor or rabbi .If we don't see this gift, we will remain wanting, and will look outside our property for riches. We have squandered our Fathers gift an d now must pay a tithe to but what we had all along. The point of Thomas version of treasure in a Jewish context would seem to have been the impact of suddenly, unexpectedly finding a fabulous treasure the kingdom of God.

(110) Jesus said, "let one who has found the world, and has become wealthy, renounce the world. (Luke 18:24) And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, how hardly shall they  that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! "The rich should renounce the world!" (Matthew 19:23) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, verily i say unto you, that  a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. One's identity should not be determined by what ever is valuable for personal status in the social fabric of the world: householder, family member, religious leader, successful business person.

(111) Jesus said, 'The heavens and the earth will roll up in your presence, and whoever is living from the living one will not see death, Does not Jesus say,"hose who have found themselves, of them the world is not worthy'? (Matthew 5:18) For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass fro the law, till all be fulfilled.' (Mark 13:31) Heaven and earth shall pass away;but my words shall not pass away. When one realizes his true being of wisdom and peace his true self, it is a greater existence than the heaven and the earth, one with the universe.'

(112) "The soul should independent of flesh! Jesus said, "Damn the flesh that depend on the soul, Damn the soul that depends on the flesh."  I think it is morethe soul and body are linked for a period of time, symbiotic by all means, but unique and with different paths. Its suggestive of the soul having eternal life and that the  soul needs to move on to the next stage.

(113) 'The kingdom is already spread over the earth! (Mark 13:21-22)And then if any man shall say to you, lo, here is Christ; or lo, he is there; believe him not. For false Christ and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect." (Luke 17:20-21) And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come he answered them and said, the kingdom of God comes not with observation: neither shall they say, lo here! or lo there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Jesus is saying the kingdom and always has been, and always will be. The kingdom is not a thing separate and apart, but a unity, a whole, existing everywhere, We are simply unable, unwilling to see it.

(114) 'Female element must make itself male! (Galatians3:28-29) Thereneither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. We know from the image that God give both man and woman that women is equal with man. It is our sin that made man and woman unequal according to Genesis 3:3. That is why Jesus told Peter that he will make woman a man, because in heaven, men are the same as woman, people live in spirit , not in body.
